Job summary
We are looking for a highly organized and technically savvy Technical Project Manager (TPM) to lead the delivery of our next-generation fintech platform. You will work closely with software engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to plan, execute, and deliver scalable, high-performance solutions that power financial applications.
The ideal candidate has a strong technical background in software development, preferably with exposure to React and Golang, and a proven track record managing agile teams building complex SaaS or fintech systems.
- Project Leadership: Own the end-to-end delivery of engineering projects—from planning and requirements to release and retrospectives.
- Technical Oversight: Collaborate with engineering leads to break down product requirements into well-defined technical tasks and milestones.
- Agile Execution: Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives. Ensure teams adhere to agile best practices and maintain predictable delivery cycles.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Act as the main liaison between engineering, design, QA, product, and business stakeholders to align priorities and remove roadblocks.
- Risk & Dependency Management: Identify potential risks early and coordinate mitigation strategies to ensure on-time delivery.
- Quality & Performance: Partner with QA and DevOps to uphold high-quality standards for deployments, testing, and release processes.
- Reporting & Metrics: Track and communicate project health using metrics such as velocity, burndown, and release predictability.
- Continuous Improvement: Advocate for process and tooling improvements that enhance team productivity and collaboration.
Your skills will include
- Experience: 5+ years managing software development projects, with at least 2 years in a technical project manager or engineering program manager role.
- Technical Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; prior hands-on experience as a developer or technical analyst preferred.
- Tech Stack Familiarity: Working understanding of React (frontend) and Golang (backend) development lifecycles; experience with REST APIs, cloud architectures (AWS or GCP), and CI/CD pipelines.
- Methodology: knowledge of Agile/Scrum and Kanban practices; experience with Jira, Linear, or equivalent project tracking tools.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear deliverables and stakeholder updates.
- Bonus: Experience in Fintech, payments, or wealth management platforms.
