Summary
We are seeking candidates for a potential opportunity as Enterprise Management (EM) Packaging Administrator – Tier III to join our team supporting the Defense Health Agency’s enterprise IT environment. This role focuses on engineering, testing, and deploying enterprise software packages, ensuring secure, consistent, and policy-compliant application delivery across a hybrid IT infrastructure. You will play a vital role in enabling reliable and standardized application delivery that supports the healthcare mission of the Military Health System.
Key Responsibilities
Engineer, test, and deploy Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) and Government-Off-The-Shelf (GOTS) software packages using MECM or similar deployment tools.
Ensure software compatibility with standardized enterprise endpoint configurations.
Document and maintain application packaging standards, procedures, and best practices.
Troubleshoot and resolve escalated issues related to application packaging and deployment.
Collaborate with engineering, cybersecurity, and operations teams to support enterprise-wide initiatives.
Preferred Tools & Technologies
Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM)
PowerShell scripting and MSI packaging tools
Windows operating systems and registry management
DISA STIGs and DoD compliance frameworks
Application packaging and deployment utilities
Minimum Qualifications
Experience with application packaging technologies (e.g., MSI, PowerShell scripting, SCCM/MECM).
Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, registry management, and enterprise deployment practices.
Familiarity with DoD STIG compliance, security standards, and patch management processes.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative, mission-critical environment.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust (Tier 3/NACLC) clearance.
Education & Certifications
Required (Foundational – one of the following):
Bachelor’s degree in IT / Cybersecurity / Data Science / IS / CS (ABET or CAE accredited),
OR Cloud+, GICSP, SSCP, Security+, or GSEC.
Required (CE – one of the following):
Microsoft Endpoint Administrator (MD-102),
OR Microsoft 365 Fundamentals (MS-900).
