The Logistic team is responsible for ensuring the availability, quality, and proper handling of raw materials and consumables required for production at the Araucária site. The team includes logistics operators and specialist working closely with Production, Planning, Quality, and external warehouse providers. The team operates in a highly collaborative environment, focused on safety, quality, and efficiency, contributing directly to Confidencial (Apenas para Cadastrados)’ purpose by ensuring reliable supply for enzyme production.
The role combines operational, tactical, and improvement responsibilities, with a strong focus on execution and optimization.
Core responsibilities:
- Plan and schedule raw materials (local and imported) and consumables to support production needs.
- Act as a technical reference for the Raw Material Warehouse, supporting and guiding operators.
- Ensure inventory accuracy, including stock closing, cycle counting, adjustments, and expiration control.
- Support internal logistics operations and drive improvements in material flow and warehouse efficiency.
- Lead or support problem-solving initiatives and continuous improvement projects across logistics and production.
Additional responsibilities:
- Manage external logistics service providers and warehouse contracts.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Handle supplier complaints related to raw materials
- Monitor transportation and inventory costs (SMI).
- Approve and follow up invoices.
- Manage consumables.
- Support evaluation of new raw materials.
- Participate in Lean routines and KPI management.
- Act as backup for Production Planning specialist.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, GMP, and regulatory requirements (including customs-related activities
Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related fields
- Experience in logistics, warehouse, or supply chain operations
- Experience with inventory management, ERP systems, and logistics processes
- Knowledge of GMP and regulated environments is a plus
- Experience with Lean tools and continuous improvement is desirable
- Advanced English (mandatory)
