Join Confidencial (Apenas para Cadastrados) as 2nd Engineer (2/E) on an offshore support vessel in Brazil. You will work closely with the Chief Engineer to keep all machinery running safely and efficiently, supporting daily offshore operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Chief Engineer in safe and efficient operation of all engine room machinery and equipment
- Carry out planned maintenance and repair of main and auxiliary engines, pumps, compressors, and other systems
- Monitor engine room parameters and report any irregularities promptly
- Maintain engine room logs, records, and documentation as required
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, flag, class, and safety regulations
- Support bunkering operations and control of fuel, lube oil, and consumables
- Participate in drills and promote safe working practices at all times
Requirements
- Valid 2nd Engineer (Motor) CoC, meeting STCW requirements
- Previous experience as 2/E, preferably on offshore support or similar vessels
- Valid STCW basic and advanced safety courses and medical certificate
- Good knowledge of engine room systems, maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Good English communication skills, both spoken and written
- Strong safety mindset and ability to work in a multinational crew
