About the Position
We are seeking a Customer Support Representative for an opportunity based in Plantation, FL (remote position). This role is responsible for assisting and supporting vendors and managers Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Eastern Time Zone). Daily responsibilities include helping vendors and clients navigate our system through email, phone, and screen-sharing support.
The ideal candidate is comfortable troubleshooting software issues reported by users and handling support needs such as missing documentation, incomplete company setups, and user training on proper system use. Strong communication skills, both by phone and email, are essential. In this role, you will report to a Team Lead or the Support Manager and receive training from experienced members of the team.
What your day-to-day will look like:
- Provide support to customers and vendors via phone, email, and screen sharing;
- Answer general questions regarding platform access, usage, and memberships;
- Ask questions to better understand the source of reported issues;
- Help customers troubleshoot problems they encounter while using the platform;
- Guide users on best practices and proper system usage;
- Review insurance documents and upload them into our compliance system;
- Collaborate with the team to continuously improve processes and user experience
What we expect from you:
- Proficiency in English
- Customer service experience (3+ years preferred)
- High attention to detail and ability to problem solve
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Should be able to work with a team and independently
- Resilient and able to adapt to changing environments
- MS Office savvy (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Experience with Zendesk is a plus
- Knowledge of the property management or commercial insurance industry is a plus
