Role Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Safety Consultant to join our team at Confidencial (Apenas para Cadastrados). As a Safety Consultant specializing in Industrial Hygiene and Environmental Management, you will be responsible for ensuring that our regional site operations meet the highest standards of safety and sustainability. Your expertise will directly contribute to reducing workplace risks and ensuring environmental regulatory compliance, creating a positive, tangible impact on the lives of workers and the communities we serve.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive safety audits and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and recommend improvements

  • Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies and procedures in accordance with local regulations and industry best practices

  • Provide expert guidance and mentorship to team members and clients on safety standards and compliance issues

  • Lead training sessions and workshops to promote safety awareness and best practices within the organization

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate safety considerations into project planning and execution

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices to continually enhance the company's safety programs

Preferred Qualifications

  • Occupational Safety Engineer certified in Industrial Hygiene

  • 5+ years of experience in safety consulting or a similar role within the industry

  • In-depth knowledge of safety regulations, standards, and best practices

  • Demonstrated experience conducting safety audits and risk assessments

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex safety data and metrics

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.

  • Ability to communicate information effectively to employees at all levels.

  • Proficiency in safety management software and tools for reporting and analysis

  • Familiarity with environmental regulations and sustainability practices

  • Passion for promoting a culture of safety and continuous improvement

  • Proficiency in Portuguese, Spanish, and English.
