Join Confidencial (Apenas para Cadastrados) as Electro Technical Officer (ETO) on an offshore special purpose vessel operating in Brazil. You will be responsible for the safe and reliable operation of all electrical and electronic systems onboard, supporting vessel operations and ensuring minimum downtime.
- Key responsibilities:
- Operate, monitor and maintain all electrical and electronic equipment, including power generation and distribution systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair faults in automation, control, communication and navigation systems.
- Carry out planned maintenance on electrical systems in line with company and manufacturer guidelines.
- Ensure safe working practices and compliance with class, flag and company standards.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance, repairs and spare parts used.
- Requirements:
- Valid ETO CoC and all required STCW certificates.
- High voltage course
- K-Pos Maintenance course
- Previous experience as ETR on offshore or similar vessels.
- Strong knowledge of marine electrical and electronic systems.
- Good English communication skills, both spoken and written.
- Medically fit for offshore work and willing to work in Brazil.
