Financial Analyst, FP&A and Planning
Engagement Type: Contract, Independent Contractor
Hours: Full time availability, 40 hours per week
Location: Remote, with partial overlap required with PST
Reporting: Reports to the Manager, FP&A and Planning and partners closely with the Planning and Purchasing team
About the Role
Confidencial (Apenas para Cadastrados) is hiring a Financial Analyst to support product demand and revenue forecasting and help manage the inventory pipeline end to end. You will work tightly with Planning and Purchasing to translate sales trends, inventory positions, and supplier lead times into clear forecasts and buying recommendations. This role fits someone who thinks in models, sees risks early, and turns messy data into decisions.
What You Will Do
- Lead execution of inventory and demand planning activities in a high growth environment
- Monitor demand and supply signals and flag risks early to keep inventory balanced
- Evaluate product performance and build purchasing recommendations using data driven insights
- Support inventory optimization across multiple warehouse locations in partnership with logistics and production
- Monitor financial performance versus forecast and KPIs and provide clear recommendations
- Build and maintain forecasting, revenue, and inventory models with high accuracy and consistency
- Improve and standardize reporting and forecasting tools, including automation where possible
- Deliver ad hoc analysis that supports operational and strategic decisions
- Collaborate cross functionally and drive process improvements with a builder mindset
What You Need
- 2 to 3 years of FP&A, financial analysis, or data analytics experience
- Advanced Excel skills, you can build and maintain complex models without hand holding
- Strong analytical skills with a track record of turning data into actions
- Strong problem solving skills and comfort working in a fast moving environment
- Clear communication and collaboration skills, you can influence partners across teams
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines
- Experience with BI or reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or SQL is a plus
- CPA, MBA, or CFA is a plus
