About this opportunity
The Manager, iTero Clinical Training LATAM is responsible for leading a high-performing regional team focused on delivering excellence in customer onboarding, clinical workflow enablement, and sustained digital adoption through iTero as the foundational entry point into Align’s digital ecosystem.
While maintaining excellence in technical and clinical training delivery, this role expands beyond traditional training execution to ensure customers successfully integrate iTero into their daily workflows and progressively adopt broader digital solutions across the Align platform.
This leader will be responsible for evolving the team into a more consultative enablement model, driving stronger workflow integration, feature utilization, customer engagement after onboarding, and scalable regional adoption practices.
The role also plays a strategic part in establishing performance visibility, data-driven capacity models, and scalable operating practices that support business growth across LATAM.
This is a dynamic and rapidly evolving environment that requires strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, analytical rigor, and the ability to continuously adapt the operating model to support regional growth.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will be…
- Responsible for the overall performance, strategy, and results of the LATAM iTero Clinical Training organization
- Lead and develop a regional team that may include Clinical Trainers, Digital Adoption Specialists, or Supervisors
- Ensure excellence in customer onboarding, technical training delivery, and workflow integration
- Maintain iTero as the primary anchor capability for customer digital workflow adoption
- Expand the team’s execution model from training delivery into consultative clinical workflow enablement
- Design scalable customer journeys that supports onboarding excellence, digital tools adoption, workflow consistency, sustained customer engagement, and digital maturity progression.
- Establish KPI dashboards and analytics to monitor:
- training effectiveness
- iTero utilization trends
- post-onboarding engagement
- workflow adoption consistency
- regional capacity and SLA
- Develop capacity models and resource allocation frameworks to support increasing customer demand across LATAM
- Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Clinical Education, Marketing, Commercial Operations, and Global teams
- Lead innovation pilots and scaling projects from pilot to regional rollout
- Ensure each direct report receives strong coaching, feedback, and development opportunities
- Assess team capabilities and define areas of specialization and growth
- Manage all administrative responsibilities, including expense approvals, time-off approvals, talent reviews, and performance cycles
- Collaborate closely with regional and global leadership teams on transformation initiatives
- Ensure compliance with supply chain security, tax, customs, and company governance requirements
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
For this position, you will…
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in customer-facing training, consulting, or enablement leadership
- Clinical degree in dentistry and/or dental office workflow experience preferred
- 6–10 years of relevant professional experience in clinical training, digital workflow enablement, consulting, or customer success leadership
- Strong leadership experience managing regional teams in matrix organizations
- Proven ability to transform operational teams into scalable strategic functions
- Advanced ability to create and manage KPI dashboards, analytics, and performance-driven action plans
- Strong organizational design and change management capability
- Advanced stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Strong coaching, feedback, and talent development skills
- Deep understanding of iTero workflows and digital dentistry customer behavior
- Strong resilience, creativity, empathy, and emotional intelligence
- Ability to build integrated solutions with internal and external partners
- Advanced English required
- Spanish proficiency required
