Join our Latin American (LATAM) Payment Business Operations team as we seek a Program Manager to oversee payment controllership for accounts receivable and payable. In this role, you will identify operational gaps, design automated controls, and implement process improvements within our financial landscape. You'll work cross-functionally with developers, business teams, accounting staff, and product management to resolve issues and ensure reconciliation standards are met in a timely manner. With your background in accounting, finance, treasury, or payments industry, you'll build business metrics, develop dashboards, and drive operational excellence across our payment programs throughout LATAM markets.

Key job responsibilities
  • Identify operational gaps in new offerings and set operational requirements for projects, working with developers, business teams, and accounting staff to resolve issues and implement process improvements.
  • Design automated controls for our payments financial landscape that meet reconciliation standards, ensuring proper tracking and resolution of open issues and research requests.
  • Build business and operational metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement, effectively using internal analytics and support tools to develop dashboards.
  • Identify risks to deliver commitments and drive corrective actions and resolution, providing regular status updates to management.
  • Manage and assess deliverables provided by external partners, while working with product management and technology teams to research issues and implement process improvements.

A day in the life
Your typical day involves tracking open issues and research requests while providing regular status updates to management. You'll support accounting and business teams in completing financial reconciliations, build operational metrics to identify trends, and develop dashboards using advanced Excel skills and SQL. You'll collaborate with developers and business stakeholders to resolve issues, identify process improvements, and track progress to completion. When needed, you'll manage deliverables from third parties and assess their contributions to ensure quality and timeliness.

About the team
The Latin American (LATAM) Payment Business Operations team oversees payment programs across LATAM markets. We serve proprietary stores in Brazil and Mexico, enable cross-border transactions in eight additional LATAM countries, and support Digital Businesses operations. Within our scope, we manage all partners and country-specific payment methods through local partnerships. We build roadmaps that drive local customer experience improvements by tracking partner performance, contract adherence, and system availability. Working with local Product teams, we enhance customer experiences aligned with regional strategies. We are responsible for implementing payment strategies for non-card products across Brazil and Mexico Stores, Digital Businesses, new business lines, and additional local payment methods through our Integration and Launches framework.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
  • Experience in program or project management
  • Experience working cross functionally with non-tech teams
  • Speak, write, and read fluently in English

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
  • Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
  • Experience in driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
  • Experience with financial services, payments or e-commerce
