Purpose of the Role

The Regional Business Manager will lead and accelerate business growth within the Brazilian agrochemical sector and across the LATAM region. This role is responsible for driving sales performance, expanding market reach, and executing strategic business development initiatives.

The position requires strong technical expertise in agrochemicals, surfactant chemistry, and related specialty chemical or polymer chemistries, combined with the ability to build strategic customer relationships and identify emerging market opportunities.

While the immediate focus is Brazil, the role may expand to other LATAM countries as per organizational priorities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales & Market Expansion

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in agrochemicals and specialty chemicals across LATAM.
  • Support commercialization of proprietary and patent-pending chemistries in Brazil.
  • Travel periodically to Latin American markets as per agreed schedule.
  • Utilize the Multan development laboratory for technical demonstrations and application development.

2. Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors, and partners.
  • Manage key accounts and develop long-term strategic partnerships.

3. Technical Support & Product Training

  • Provide technical expertise on surfactant chemistry and agrochemical applications.
  • Conduct product training sessions for customers and internal teams.
  • Support formulation development and troubleshooting.

4. Competitive Analysis & Business Strategy

  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis.
  • Develop go-to-market strategies for new chemistries.
  • Identify pricing and positioning opportunities.

5. Collaborative Growth Initiatives

  • Work closely with R&D, marketing, and operations teams.
  • Support innovation-led customer projects.
  • Co-develop formulations with customers.

6. Sales Planning & Performance Metrics

  • Develop sales forecasts and KPIs.
  • Drive revenue growth aligned with company targets.
  • Monitor sales pipeline and conversion metrics.

Working Conditions

  • Work Location: Remote (Brazil-focused)
  • Working Hours: 09:00 – 18:00
  • Travel: Frequent travel to LATAM markets

Candidate Requirements

Education

Bachelor’s degree in:

  • Chemical Engineering
  • Chemistry
  • Agricultural Sciences
  • Polymer Science
  • Related discipline

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years in agrochemicals, surfactants, specialty chemicals, or polymer industries.
  • Experience in technical sales, business development, or technical marketing preferred.

Core Technical & Commercial Skills

  • Strong knowledge of agri-surfactants and adjuvants
  • Understanding of biological and green chemistry platforms
  • Ability to translate chemistry into commercial value
  • Formulation development exposure
