About the Client

Our client is a small but growing payment gateway and aggregator focused on the LATAM market, targeting the betting and iGaming industries.

Role Overview

The Sales Manager will be the first commercial hire, responsible for building and structuring the sales function from scratch while driving merchant acquisition, particularly for LATAM alternative payment methods in the betting and iGaming industries. The role requires leveraging a strong industry network, executing full sales cycles independently, and contributing to the company’s growth and expansion into European and global markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and lead the sales function from the ground up as the first sales hire, defining strategy, pipeline structure, and KPIs.

  • Acquire licensed betting and igaming merchants, focusing on LATAM alternative payment methods for European and global clients.

  • Sell the company’s payment gateway/aggregator solution, emphasising stability (multi-channel routing).

  • Develop and execute cold outreach and networking strategies, leveraging personal industry connections and LinkedIn presence.

  • Structure and optimise the full sales cycle — from prospecting and negotiations to onboarding and first transaction volume.

  • Collaborate closely with Product, Project Management, and Support teams to ensure smooth integrations and high service quality.

  • Contribute to strategic growth initiatives, including expansion into card payments, future EMI licensing, and scaling the sales team.

Requirements

  • Solid experience in the payments industry (PSP, gateway, aggregator, acquiring) with clear understanding of provider-side sales structures.

  • Proven ability to build processes independently in a small or early-stage team environment.

  • Strong professional network within betting, gaming, high-risk, or LATAM-related markets (active LinkedIn presence is essential).

  • Ability to sell without relying on brand recognition, with strong cold outreach and value-based selling skills.

  • Ambitious, entrepreneurial mindset with excellent communication skills.

  • Fluent English required (Russian is a strong advantage).
