Join us as a Senior API Integration Engineerspecializing in Wealth Management and Financial Services.

You will help design and implement secure, scalable integration solutions connecting modern and legacy financial platforms. You will work closely with engineering, data, and business stakeholders to enable seamless data flows across systems such as Pershing, Salesforce, Snowflake, and AS400 environments.

Your mission will be to design and develop API-driven solutions that support operational workflows, data accessibility, and AI-enabled initiatives while ensuring compliance, security, and reliability within regulated financial services environments.

What you'll do in this role:

This role combines hands-on engineering, integration architecture, and stakeholder collaboration. We are looking for someone who can bridge technical execution with business understanding, communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences, and proactively drive solutions in complex enterprise ecosystems.

  • Design and develop secure RESTful APIs and integration solutions across financial platforms and enterprise systems
  • Build and maintain integrations between Pershing, Salesforce, Snowflake, and legacy environments such as AS400
  • Develop backend services primarily using Python and FastAPI
  • Help define API standards including authentication, authorization, versioning, and error handling
  • Consume and expose structured data from Snowflake and virtualized data layers
  • Collaborate with data and AI teams to support downstream analytics and AI-driven features
  • Ensure integrations meet security, compliance, and regulatory standards expected in financial services environments
  • Communicate technical solutions, trade-offs, and risks clearly to both technical and business stakeholders
  • Work closely with distributed teams in a fast-paced consulting environment

This position is ideal for you if you have:

  • Strong experience within Wealth Management, Brokerage, Custody, or Financial Services environments
  • Proven expertise designing and developing API integrations in complex enterprise ecosystems
  • Hands-on experience with Python and FastAPI for backend and integration development
  • Experience integrating modern cloud platforms with legacy systems
  • Understanding of secure data handling and compliance requirements in regulated environments
  • Experience working with platforms such as Snowflake, Salesforce, Pershing, or similar financial systems
  • Familiarity with AWS and/or Azure cloud environments and infrastructure automation tools like Terraform
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams
  • A proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and drive solutions forward
  • Experience supporting data accessibility and integration initiatives for analytics or AI-enabled products is a plus

It would be great if you have:

  • Experience with Pershing or similar brokerage/custody platforms
  • Exposure to AI/ML-enabled data workflows or integrations supporting AI initiatives
  • Experience integrating AS400 / IBM i legacy systems
  • Familiarity with Denodo, DBT, or data virtualization concepts
  • Experience working within regulated financial environments subject to SEC, FINRA, or SOC2 requirements
  • Knowledge of event-driven architectures and messaging systems
  • Previous experience working in consulting or client-facing environments
