We’re looking for a Senior AQA Engineer with Release Management experience who will take responsibility for quality gates, release readiness, and predictable delivery across multiple teams and repositories.
This role goes far beyond writing test cases. You’ll act as the quality guardian of our releases, owning release coordination, enforcing QA standards, and ensuring that every deployment meets our reliability, performance, and visual quality expectations.
This is a pivotal role for a senior-quality professional who thrives at the intersection of test automation and cross-team release orchestration.
Responsibilities
- Own the design, provisioning, and lifecycle management of production infrastructure across development, staging, and production environments
- Architect, maintain, and scale CI/CD platforms and deployment automation used by engineering and QA teams
- Ensure system reliability, scalability, and availability, including capacity planning, autoscaling, and failure recovery strategies
- Establish and enforce infrastructure and deployment standards, including blue/green and canary deployments, rollback mechanisms, and environment parity
- Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and postmortems, driving long-term reliability improvements
- Design and maintain observability systems (monitoring, logging, alerting, metrics) aligned with SLI/SLO best practices
- Drive infrastructure-level performance optimization, including improvements impacting Core Web Vitals and backend latency
- Optimize cloud cost efficiency and resource utilization, providing data-driven recommendations and PoCs
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, with a strong focus on automated testing
- Solid hands-on experience with Git and modern version control workflows
- Proven experience working with CI/CD pipelines in multi-repository environments
- Strong understanding of release management principles and QA sign-off processes
- Hands-on experience with SonarQube and implementing effective Quality Gates
- Practical understanding of Core Web Vitals and how QA can influence web performance quality
- Experience working in cross-functional teams and coordinating releases across multiple stakeholders
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to turn metrics and test results into actionable improvements
- Upper-intermediate or higher English, comfortable working with distributed international teams
Nice to Have
- Experience with JavaScript / TypeScript, Node.js, or React-based applications
- Hands-on experience with Applitools or other visual testing tools
- Experience testing Contentful-based or CMS-driven applications
- Familiarity with AWS environments from a QA/testing perspective
- Background in performance testing or monitoring at scale
