JOB DESCRIPTION
- To perform commissioning of equipment, systems (marine & topside) for repair / new build / conversion vessels.
- Ensure that all safety procedures and regulations are complied with, as defined in the safety and health manual and ensure good housekeeping standards are maintain always at site.
- Ensure that all standard operating procedures comply with specifications, quality standards, statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Promote safe working procedures to prevent incidents.
- Follow instructions from his superiors and carry out tasks in a safe and productive manner.
- Assist the Foremen in supervising the workforce.
- Ensure time keeping and discipline of his worker reporting to him.
- Deploy and utilize manpower effectively.
- Read all relevant drawings and procedure for the commissioning work Preparation of MC and PC checks sheets.
- Assist equipment inspection and mechanical completion (MC). – Co-ordinate MC inspection with client rep/owner reps/ classification surveyor and get it approved.
1- Carry out commissioning activities and system running / performance test and handed over the system to operation team.
1- Any other assigned duties and responsibilities.
