Role Mission
The Principal challenge for the Especialista Contábil will be to manage and enhance the accounting processes in accordance with IFRS and local regulations. This involves leading the monthly closing procedures, conducting thorough reconciliations, and ensuring robust financial reporting aligned with company objectives. The role requires navigating complex ERP systems while utilizing advanced Excel and automation tools to streamline operations.
Responsabilities:
• Conduct monthly and annual financial closings to ensure accurate financial data.
• Perform account reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of accounting records.
• Prepare and present detailed financial reports, adhering to IFRS standards.
• Implement and oversee accounting controls to maintain compliance with internal and external regulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the ERP accounting system for improved financial processes.
• Support external audits and ensure readiness of accurate and comprehensive documentation.
Experience:
• Advanced IFRS knowledge and application in financial reporting.
• Proven expertise in technical accounting functions and closing procedures.
• Proficiency in ERP accounting systems, particularly SAP or similar.
• Advanced skills in Excel for financial modeling and analysis.
• Familiarity with automation tools to optimize accounting processes.
• Fluent/ Advanced English for effective communication within international teams.
Nice to have:
• Experience with SAP S/4 HANA as an ERP system.
• Experience in high-growth tech environments or multinational companies.
• Capacity to quickly adapt to changes in the business environment.
• Certification in CPA or equivalent.
• Intermediate Spanish or other language expertise.
