Objective
This role is responsible for providing technical support to the customer. It acts as an escalation point for the sales team, clients, and distributors. It ensures the warranty process is carried out correctly. It provides input for Quality Assurance and process improvements for the product and the entire process from product development to final delivery. It possesses extensive knowledge of the organization's products and services and broad experience in handling customer inquiries. Will also be responsible for unpacking, installation, configuration, training and servicing Office and Digital Printing Equipments.
Main responsibilities
· Collaboration on product development with the Marketing department
· Collaboration on product development with the technical department
· Distributes quality risks and failures to Corporate
· Reviews and performs quality control on product and packaging with warehouse personnel
· Interact internationally with the product development team
· Tracks warranty claims
· Provides technical support to customers via phone and in person
· Plans, implements, and monitors field trials for customers and distributors
· Collaborates and builds relationships with other departments/field users
· Provides daily technical support to all distributors and customers
· Identifies training needs, develops programs, and delivers/coordinates skills and product training for the sales team
· Prepares and maintains all training modules and delivers technical presentations to employees, customers, and distributors
· Conducts technical visits to customers and distributors to support the sales team
Education & experiences
- Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- 2 years of experience in a similar position in the copier and printing industry is considered an asset
Knowledge, Skills & Capacities
· Strong knowledge of the organization's products and services
· Knowledge and experience working with metrics and KPI tracking
· Excellent customer service and teamwork skills
· Ability to interact effectively with both internal team members and external clients
· Willingness to travel frequently, both domestically and internationally
· English (reading, writing, and speaking are essential)
· Spanish will be considered as differential
Equipment / Software
- Proficient computer skills, including intermediate (or higher) level experience with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
