We are seeking an Art Editor to work on the conception, development, and execution of editorial graphic design projects, ensuring aesthetic quality, didactic functionality, and adherence to brand guidelines. This professional will play a critical role in the operation, ensuring the delivery of printed and digital editorial materials with excellence.
Responsabilidades e atribuições
- Develop and oversee editorial graphic design projects
- Create, review, and approve layouts, covers, and interior pages
- Guide designers, illustrators, and suppliers
- Ensure aesthetic quality and legibility
- Monitor the entire editorial workflow
- Ensure adherence to brand and technical requirements
- Meet deadlines and schedules
- Work with editorial and academic teams
- Review materials before publication
- Organize files and digital assets
Requisitos e qualificações
- Degree in Design, Visual Arts or related fields
- Experience as an Art Editor or Editorial Designer (minimum 2 years)
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience with editorial materials (books, textbooks)
- Knowledge of typography, grid and visual hierarchy
- Ability to manage multiple projects
- Attention to detail and organization Desirable Skills
- Experience with educational materials for basic education or PNLD (National Textbook Program)
- Knowledge of graphic production
- Experience with digital/UX
- English
- Experience in communicating with suppliers
