Position Description

The Private Credit Analyst role is an entry-level position within the investment team, focused on supporting the origination, evaluation, and monitoring of private credit investments in Brazil. The analyst will work closely with senior professionals to conduct in-depth financial analysis, build and maintain financial models, and contribute to investment decision-making processes. This role offers significant exposure to deal execution, portfolio management, and client interaction, providing a strong foundation in private credit and broader capital markets. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, intellectually curious, and eager to develop technical and analytical skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Performing detailed financial and market research and analysis that forms the basis for decisions on new debt investments of the firm

  • Preparing financial models including cash flow analysis and securitizations

  • Preparing investment committee memos

  • Preparing presentations and pitches for internal and external use

  • Monitoring investment performance including maintaining and updating financial models as well as keeping track of relevant current market activities

  • Assisting in investors presentations and queries

  • Additional duties include providing direct support as deemed necessary by senior management

Qualifications

  • Strong intellect with excellent quantitative, financial and analytical skills.

  • Ideal candidate to have relevant internships experience and/or up to 1-2 years of private credit, leveraged finance, or investment banking experience

  • Self-motivated and driven; ability to work effectively in a fast moving, demanding, and dynamic environment

  • Creative problem solver

  • Good team player

  • Fluency in English
