Role Purpose

The Sr Finance Manager will lead Cuco’s global administrative and financial structure, ensuring predictability, governance, and a solid foundation for sustainable growth across multiple markets.

This role exists to transform financial complexity into executive clarity, enabling the company to scale with discipline, confidence, and long-term vision. The Sr Financial Manager will act as a strategic partner to leadership while also structuring and strengthening the financial backbone of a fast-growing, creative, and operationally dynamic organization.

First-Year Priorities
  • Establish financial predictability, especially cash flow visibility across Brazil and international operations
  • Structure and standardize monthly closing and management reporting processes
  • Implement core financial governance, including controls, documentation, and intercompany foundations
  • Support international expansion with financially sound structures and operational clarity
  • Strengthen margin visibility and financial decision-making across projects and business units
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the administrative and finance function, ensuring operational organization, reliability, and scalability
  • Define and execute Cuco’s corporate financial strategy, integrating planning, forecasting, and long-term analysis
  • Ensure strong cash flow governance across multiple entities and currencies
  • Oversee monthly financial close and deliver clear, structured reports to the CEO, leadership team, and shareholders
  • Manage the consolidation of financial results across all operating entities, ensuring consistency across countries, currencies, and accounting standards
  • Govern intercompany transactions, including pricing, documentation, and consolidation adjustments
  • Oversee revenue recognition for complex commercial agreements (merchandising, sponsorships, marketing, and hybrid models), ensuring compliance with applicable standards
  • Supervise accounting treatment of costs, fixed assets, intangible assets, leases, and provisions
  • Act as the main technical counterpart in complex accounting discussions with external auditors
  • Provide functional leadership to Legal and external BPO partners, setting standards, priorities, and governance guidelines
  • Lead financial, tax, and corporate compliance initiatives, including the setup of entities in new jurisdictions
  • Strengthen corporate governance, internal controls, and financial documentation processes
  • Support strategic decisions through financial modeling, scenario analysis, margin evaluation, and risk assessment
  • Lead and develop the administrative-financial team, ensuring performance, clarity, and structure
  • Act as a strategic partner to the CEO/COS and executive team in key decision-making forums
  • Support or lead strategic transactions such as due diligence, MA, capital structuring, and investor relations
  • Prepare the company, when applicable, for capital markets initiatives such as IPOs or follow-ons
Requirements Technical Background
  • Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related fields
  • Fluency in English (required for international communication, negotiations, and reporting)
  • Strong experience with multi-entity cash flow management and international operations
  • Deep knowledge of corporate governance, compliance, and internal controls
  • Experience with MA, financial due diligence, and capital structuring
  • Familiarity with capital markets (IPO, fundraising, investor relations)
Experience
  • Proven experience as Senior Finance Leader
  • Background in complex and evolving business environments, especially those undergoing growth and professionalization
  • Experience in service-based companies, agencies, or creative businesses is a strong plus
  • Comfortable operating in environments that require building structure while managing ongoing operations
