Description and Requirements


Role Overview

This role provides on-site technical support for Business Impact Area (BIA) environments, supporting mission-critical users, including VIP stakeholders.

The position focuses on delivering reliable IT support within trading desk environments and financial market applications, ensuring rapid issue resolution and minimal business disruption.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site technical support for VIP users and business-critical environments
  • Manage and resolve support tickets, ensuring all actions are accurately recorded in ITSM systems
  • Handle service requests received through multiple channels, including messaging platforms
  • Support configuration, installation, and ongoing maintenance of market data systems (e.g., Bloomberg, Reuters, Broadcast, Dealing, Agência Estado, BMF)
  • Plan and execute hardware setup, relocation, and upgrades for trading desks and financial applications
  • Respond quickly to system outages impacting trading environments and financial platforms
  • Perform on-site diagnosis and resolution of hardware and software issues
  • Support proprietary and third-party systems and applications
  • Install, maintain, and relocate monitor setups, including suspended mounts
  • Relocate equipment and peripherals across workspaces and floors as required
  • Perform hardware maintenance and break/fix services when needed

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid technical knowledge of hardware and software support technologies
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve intermediate-level technical issues
  • Understanding of operational workflows and ability to collaborate across teams
  • Ability to produce clear and detailed technical documentation
  • Familiarity with trading desk and financial market tools (e.g., Bloomberg, Reuters, Broadcast, Dealing, Agência Estado, BMF)

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience:
    2–5 years of experience in IT support roles such as Field Services or On-site Support within enterprise or outsourced environments

  • Education:
    Undergraduate degree in an IT-related discipline or technical high school education supplemented with relevant IT certifications
