Our challenge
The Health Operations team is responsible for developing and managing Confidencial (Apenas para Cadastrados)’s proprietary healthcare operations. In order to make the world healthier, the scope of this role and of our team sits at the core of how we make that happen.
In this role, you will be directly involved in defining our care strategy, ensuring that all our members achieve the best possible outcomes in an efficient and sustainable way. Our goal is to deliver the highest standard of healthcare with operational excellence, enabling our members to become healthier while also ensuring Confidencial (Apenas para Cadastrados)’s financial sustainability so we can expand our impact far beyond our current 80,000 members.
Why this role matters
As the person responsible for Hospital and Tertiary Care Operations, you will be the connection point between Confidencial (Apenas para Cadastrados)’s healthcare strategy and operational execution, ensuring that Emergency and Urgent Care and Homecare journeys generate real value for members, professionals and partners.
You will lead initiatives focused on improving experience, increasing efficiency and optimizing costs, always with a strong focus on health outcomes and business sustainability. The role spans from monitoring and analyzing key metrics to building and implementing structural solutions, in close partnership with internal teams such as medical, nursing, product, engineering and hospital partners.
This position carries direct responsibility for a critical operation at Confidencial (Apenas para Cadastrados), with continuous ownership of financial and clinical outcome indicators that support the company’s growth. It is a role for someone who wants true ownership, moves beyond recommendations and delivers concrete impact on both operations and the business.
Your Role
You will work on one of the most complex journeys in the healthcare system: urgent, emergency and homecare hospitalizations. The challenge goes beyond operating the journey itself and involves ensuring financial efficiency, operational excellence and better health outcomes at scale.
This role exists to structure, analyze and transform this operation. It connects strategy and execution, with direct accountability for critical business indicators and measurable impact on Confidencial (Apenas para Cadastrados)’s
You will be accountable for the performance of Acute Hospital Care operations, acting as the true owner of the problem. This includes data analysis, solution design, decision making and hands on execution alongside the teams.
It is a high autonomy role, with exposure to leadership and constant interaction with multidisciplinary teams such as medical, nursing, product, engineering and hospital partners. The focus is on building an efficient, sustainable and results driven operation.
Key responsibilities
- Define, monitor and manage financial, operational and health outcome indicators, ensuring deep analysis, clear hypotheses and data driven decisions;
- Identify performance gaps, prioritize problems and lead action plans with measurable impact on cost, efficiency and quality;
- Design and evolve operational models for the Acute Hospital Care journey, structuring processes, rituals and governance mechanisms;
- Lead strategic and structural projects from diagnosis through implementation, in partnership with internal teams and external stakeholders;
- Act hands on in solving critical operational problems, with close proximity to the field and a real understanding of the care context;
- Lead executive level alignment with hospitals, partners and internal areas, ensuring clarity, direction and consistent execution.
