About this opportunity
The Business Expansion Manager, reporting to the Sr Director, Commercial Excellence LATAM, will be responsible for leading the successful planning, development and implementation of new business growth strategies and expansion/special projects related to Align business in LATAM countries, in close partnership with Marketing, Sales, Finance, Business Innovation & Services and other areas.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will…
- Drive cross functional collaboration, governance, monitoring and control among Marketing, Sales, Finance, Business Innovation & Services, Product development, Business Operations and other teams, understanding their long-term strategy and supporting the ideation and execution of projects.
- Ensure strong discipline in quality of execution in all roadmap projects, with adherence to project methodology requirements, managing progress and risks, with clear visibility of all project status to key stakeholders across the business.
- Incorporate insights and advice from all relevant functions, by using project management tools to effectively build project plans that maximize impact and prioritization to meet business objectives.
- Build a continuous and refreshed project roadmap by owning the end-to-end cycle for the intake, assessment and execution of commercial expansion projects within the portfolio, with proper process documentation.
- Lead and manage expansion projects diligently, from the business case to the implementation of go-to-markets, through definition of schedule, budget and resources needed to ensure that objectives are achieved efficiently.
- Build solid relationships that support commercial expansion, managing internal stakeholders as well as external partners and suppliers.
- Work in close partnership with Human Resources team in conducting change management processes, communication plans, training and necessary supporting materials about the change.
- Other duties may be assigned according to the business changing scenarios.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
In this role, you’ll need …
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Engineering or related field of study.
- 6 to 10 years of experience working with strategic business growth and expansion projects, preferably in Medical Devices, Dental or Health industry.
- Analytical skills and data driven, with SQL and Power BI strong knowledge, Microsoft tools.
- Detailed knowledge and application of core Project Management methodologies including relevant professional qualifications.
- Application of Agile Principles to optimize overall project’s performance.
- Strong communicator and influencer who can connect with key stakeholders across the organization.
- Confident presenter with ability to lead cross-functional workshops and reviews, providing clarity in objectives and expectations.
- Strong project and change management skills, through application of Agile Principles and other project management tools as ASANA, Jira and or Microsoft projects.
- Ability with implementation, excellence in execution, adaptability and attention to details, skillful in leading with ambiguity and volatile scenarios.
- Fast learner, learning agility, business savvy.
- LANGUAGES: Ideally advance English and Spanish proficient.
