We are hiring an in-house Civil Litigation Counsel to lead Confidencial (Apenas para Cadastrados)'s Dispute Resolution team.

Responsible for civil and administrative litigation, the Dispute Resolution team defines strategic legal positions and ensures the efficiency of daily operations. The area also acts as a business partner for Confidencial (Apenas para Cadastrados)'s other teams, working proactively to prevent litigation by leveraging data intelligence to anticipate litigation trends and improve internal operations.

As Dispute Resolution lead, you will be responsible for:

  1. Strategy and portfolio intelligence:

  • Lead the strategy for administrative and judicial proceedings, focusing on legal theses that promote the responsible and sustainable use of the health plan;

  • Act at the forefront of business protection, addressing patterns of abusive or fraudulent use;

  • Develop a predictive view of litigation, using data intelligence to anticipate trends and adjust the company's strategic route.

  1. High-performance operation management:

  • Define and monitor strategic KPIs, ensuring a lean, cost-effective, and results-oriented operation;

  • Manage and coordinate external law firms, ensuring Confidencial (Apenas para Cadastrados)'s defense reflects our culture of transparency and technical excellence.

  1. Core business integration:

  • Work closely with Health, Product, and Operations teams, translating litigation insights into continuous improvements in products and user experience;

  • Be a strategic partner in high-impact decisions and crisis management, supporting sustainable and well-informed decision-making.

Hard Skills:

  • 6+ years of legal experience

  • Active OAB

  • Advanced English

  • Experience in civil litigation

  • Experience leading corporate litigation is preferred

Soft Skills:

  • Ability to lead discussions on sensitive cases with senior leadership, articulating arguments clearly while remaining open to different perspectives;

  • Strong judgment to identify and prioritize risks based on impact;

  • Ability to simplify complex issues by translating them into practical and accessible solutions;

  • Positive influence and resilience, maintaining composure and inspiring others in challenging situations, with emotional intelligence and situational communication skills;

  • Proactive mindset, actively contributing solutions to address challenges (e.g.: felt the team has many doubts? Be proactive in organizing a training session!);
